David Reznik’s scholarship is at the nexus of contemporary social theory, intersectional identity politics, and 21st-century popular culture. His/their body of work includes  about American Jewish racialization in US cinema as well as peer-reviewed articles on topics ranging from Ìý³Ù´Ç . More recent publications include  in the HBO series,  and an essay on Currently, he/they are working on two projects: one assesses how present-day American horror films mirror a post-Covid reactionary/anti-social politics in the US; the other archives/curates LGBTQ+ mass media artists (Chappell Roan, Jane Schoenbrun, Luca Guadagnino, etc.) whose profoundly personal reflections on queer & trans identity amidst potential social extinction simultaneously offer inspiring calls for global societal survival amidst impending planetary catastrophe.
